= Google Summer of Code = Samba is again participating in the Google Summer of Code (SoC) in 2009.

Participants

In 2007, the following projects were funded as part of the Summer of Code:

• Improving winbindd in Samba 4 by Kai Blin. Mentored by Stefan Metzmacher
• Improved vectored/asynchronous I/O support for Linux CIFS client by Kirill S. Kuvaldin. Mentored by Steve French

Both projects completed successfully. Congratulations to Kai and Kirill!
