Google Summer of Code
Samba is again participating in the Google Summer of Code (SoC) in 2008.
Participants
Last year, the following projects were funded as part of the Summer of Code:
- Improving winbindd in Samba 4 by Kai Blin. Mentored by Stefan Metzmacher
- Improved vectored/asynchronous I/O support for Linux CIFS client by Kirill S. Kuvaldin. Mentored by Steve French
Results
Both projects completed successfully. Congratulations to Kai and Kirill!
