Since it's not possible to put full HTML here, the man page for 4.0.3 was processed [like so: #groff -mandoc `man -w /samba4/samba-4.0.3/docs/manpages/smb.conf.5` -T html >smb.conf.html]
This seems to have produced reasonable formatting for HTML.
